#TruthAtTheCup Update: Help Spread the Truth of God's Word at the 2014 FIFA World Cup

Update: We are pleased to announce that in addition to the original funds needed you have generously given over our $25,000 goal which will enable us to print and distribute more than 140,000 booklets by Dr. R.C. Sproul. Thank you.

This summer, the global outreach of Ligonier Ministries turns its focus to Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, where we plan to distribute more than 100,000 booklets. Half a million visitors are expected in Brazil for this event.

Copies of Dr. R.C. Sproul's Can I Have Joy in My Life? and a new abridged version of his The Holiness of God titled God Is Holy and We're Not will be distributed in Brazil with the help of Editora Fiel and its church partners. The majority of these booklets will be printed in Portuguese, and the rest in English.

Through the generosity of one of Ligonier's supporters who shared this vision, the Lord supplied the resources to meet our initial goal of 100,000 booklets. As our desire is to distribute as many copies as possible, we launched the #TruthAtTheCup campaign to seek your help to reach even more people with the truth of God's Word.

Since launching the #TruthAtTheCup campaign, your support in prayer, gifts, and sharing through social media has been encourgaing. To date, we have raised an additional $11,000. However, we still need your help to reach our goal of $25,000 so we can print and deliver more than 140,000 copies during the World Cup. For every gift of $60 you enable us to distribute 100 booklets.
