This recording of original chamber orchestra pieces is a survey of musical landscapes through selected biblical accounts. For composer Tom Howard, the music emerged after meditating on the Scriptures, where the emotional impact of each passage inspired themes, melodies, and textures. Hear the composer’s heart for these timeless stories expressed in vivid and dramatic musical settings. Our hope is that the combination of beautiful interpretive music and the plain reading of the Word will engage the listener in a devotional way.
