What is your content management policy?

Ligonier Ministries is trusted by Christians around the world, so we want to be above reproach. Here are some guiding principles we use in managing our content:

1. Ligonier invites and features teachers based on a variety of factors. These factors include but aren’t limited to a teacher’s character, doctrine, church membership, reputation, and practical circumstances.

2. Ligonier solicits teaching material from teachers based on their expertise at particular moments in time. By hosting a teacher’s content, Ligonier is not endorsing that teacher’s entire corpus of teaching, nor is Ligonier endorsing that teacher in perpetuity.

3. Ligonier will remove content in certain circumstances. Teaching content may be removed if a particular teacher has fallen into egregious, public sin; has refused to repent of sin; or has denied key tenets of the faith. This principle can’t be applied in every instance; for example, historical archives of multipart resources, such as events and Tabletalk magazine, can appear incomplete or confusing if material is removed without explanation. We reserve the right to address content removal in a way that seems most appropriate.
