The Faces of Ministry at Ligonier: Todd Jackson
Everything we do centers around our purpose to awaken as many people as possible to the holiness of God by proclaiming, teaching, and defending God's holiness in all its fullness. Over time in a series of posts we would like to introduce you to the people at Ligonier Ministries who serve in the various capacities that make this ministry possible.
We are pleased to introduce Dr. Todd Jackson, the Chief Financial Officer on our leadership team. He comes to the ministry with a strong background in finance and accounting, having served as associate professor of accounting and director of the master of accounting and financial analysis program at Northeastern State University in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Dr. Jackson holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the Sam M. Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas and a Master of Accountancy from the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. He also holds active memberships in American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, CFA Institute, and Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Todd is a member of Saint Andrew's along with Donna, his wife of twenty-four years, and their three young adult children. His hobbies include piano, woodworking, and biking.
Paul set a high standard of accountability for his ministry in 2 Corinthians 8:20-21: "We take this course so that no one should blame us about this generous gift that is being administered by us, for we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord's sight but also in the sight of man." The leadership of Ligonier Ministries considers it not just a duty, but also a privilege to emulate Paul in regard to our stewardship of the financial resources entrusted to us for the furtherance of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are thankful for Dr. Jackson's service to the ministry as part of the leadership team.
